Revolutionary War Zombie

This is the first version of the cover I did for "Where the Dead Talk" by Ken Davis. Originally, it was going to be a single shot like this but ended up being a wraparound. Looking at this, I think I like it more than the final version. This was done last year in May I believe.

Here are some of the different versions. It took me awhile to figure out how I wanted to arrange the pieces.

TechnoViking

A color sketch of my brother's version of the TechnoViking. We're still working on designs for the project. Once my current project wraps up I'll be jumping on to do more exploration.

Hey everyone, here's an illustration I made for my girlfriend. It was fun to get out the paints and colored pencils. Making color studies in photoshop was a huuuuge help.  The resemblance to Lumpy Space Princess was totally coincidental, haha. She's nothing like LSP.

Ye Olde Ravenskye

Here's the process for working up this painting. Working with Glenn Kim, we came up with some images to show off the city the way it used to be. Good times!

Ghost Rider on a Segway

 This was from a sketch I did after watching the classic Nick Cage flick. Apparently, GR can just hop on any thing with wheels or maybe it's any mode of transportation and it turns into a sweet flaming ride.

I started working on a cintiq at work and it's made me realize just how awesome it can be to sketch digitally. So I'm going to get one for personal work very soon.  Here's a couple of sketches, I've been in a fantasy barbarian mood lately.

Moebius Tribute

This sketch was done for my friend's blog http://blog.electricantzine.com/i-draw-your-shit-rip-moebius-tribute. We're doing a tribute to Moebius based on a series of sketch cards he did. I can't wait to see what everyone else does!

I used Absoluten Man -53 as my source of inspiration. And I have to say, Moebius was a huge inspiration to me and continues to be. RIP Jean Giraud.
