The Conquest

A quick PS sketch. I've been visiting the family up in Washington for the past week and it's been refreshing and inspiring. It's ridiculously beautiful up here.

Moebius Tribute

This sketch was done for my friend's blog http://blog.electricantzine.com/i-draw-your-shit-rip-moebius-tribute. We're doing a tribute to Moebius based on a series of sketch cards he did. I can't wait to see what everyone else does!

I used Absoluten Man -53 as my source of inspiration. And I have to say, Moebius was a huge inspiration to me and continues to be. RIP Jean Giraud.

Bird monks, a druid elf girl, myself, future self, even more future self, and De Young art museum sketches.

Late Night Sketch

This was done in probably 15 minutes while watching Tangled. Playing with brushes makes for some fun quick experiments.

Fili

There are so many dwarves! I'm looking forward to getting to the rest of 'em, but now it's time to work on some doomed Trolls. Excellent.

Ravenskye Comics

I've been working at Lolapps, Inc. for about a year now. This is a comic I did for the game Ravenskye City. I've had a blast working with the team to create this game. Copyright 6Waves Lolapps.

It's been a blast learning how to work in a more graphic style with stylized characters. I've learned so much from my friends at Lolapps, so many talented artists. You can find their links on this blog. These characters were designed by the uber-talented Elie Dagher. This short story was written by the incredibly talented Nate Berna.

Tahoe Weekend

I spent the weekend near Lake Tahoe with some friends and it was amazing. Being surrounded by all of that natural beauty in the comforts of a warm cabin was incredibly uplifting.

Iceberg

So I've been pretty silent this past year on my blog, but I feel like it's time to make a change. It's been a year of growth in many ways. Thanks to all of you for keeping in contact, it's very much appreciated!

Sketchbookin'

My computer and scanner broke on the trip over so I haven't been able to properly document my sketches or paint digitally at home. Here are some photos of sketches from the past four months, taken with my phone.
